Meet N’dea Johnson
N’dea is a 4th year political science major at UCLA. N’dea lost her mom to breast cancer when she was 12 and for 9 years has been trying to find a healthy way of coping. She felt empowered to honor her mother for her mother’s birthday by sharing her story. N’dea opens up about her mom, N’dea’s own experience with finding breast lumps, advocating for check ups, and donating to help families that are affected and research for a cure.
