This is NOT A review. Just what happened to me. The reason for posting this was because I was asked to provide a video of the issue by Came (who have been very helpful). I've tried lighter lenses but this isn't the issue. This payload comes in at under 1KG.
Issue with Came-TV right out the box...
First of all, I'd like to thank you for offering me the opportunity to order this product and the quick delivery of it.
Unfortunately, I am quite disappointed overall. Allow me to explain why..
First of all (and most importantly), the gimbal does not work, but I'll get back to that. I'll take you through my experience, so you can hopefully understand my plight.
Having spent a lot of time pondering which stabilizer to purchase, I went with Came-TV, because what I thought I would get, was a feature rich, good quality product that I could use in a professional manner. When I opened the packaging, I was surprised to find that the little round knob on the front of the flight case had broken off. I am not sure if there was a purpose for this knob, but all the same, it slightly worried me about what else was to follow.
So far, I have received everything apart from the Dual Handle. Is this on the way?
Now onto my biggest issue, that I believe I have a faulty product... I know this is a new release and has many great features, but for something that is in the same price category as a Ronin M for example, I didn't think I would have been sent a model that doesn't work. When I turn it on, it powers up for about 5 seconds, and then the motors completely die. I have tried all methods of troubleshooting, but nothing seems to work. the batteries are fully charged, so I see no reason why this should happen. I don't wish to interfere with the software or firmware settings as this should work out of the box as you promise. I had ordered this for a particular event and was very disappointed when I could not use it and had to leave it at home.
Please can you help me? As a first time customer, I am very disappointed as my friend (who bought the Ronin-M) is happily using his stabilizer, and I have nothing, but an expensive bill. ☹
I do really like what you are doing as a company, your products are innovational and exciting, but please allow me to suggest more attention is made to quality control. As a consumer, I am heavily reliant on trust of a brand. I am keen to make further purchases, but just want to know that I can rely on the equipment I am using, so I can concentrate on being creative.
