A marlin demonstrates its incredible speed whilst hunting a bait ball. Underwater filmmaker Juan Manuel Guzman DáVila, 36, captured the incredible footage of a marlin displaying its power and speed a mere three meters below the water’s surface off the coast of Magdalena Island, Mexico. The marlin circled its prey, a sardine bait ball, slowly before suddenly charging with explosive speed, successfully incapacitating two of the unfortunate sardines. The predator then calmly collects its reward and munches down on its snack.
