When I made this video, I attempted to speed up my process by re-using some old video/composite files as templates for this video... which ended up causing a lot of problems with labels. The corrections here were just to some labels that were switched around the 8:20 Mark in the old video. Now the "Sigma" label is on the left, where it belong. Unfortunately, there are still labeling problems... which you'll see around 8:40. When I noticed these, I corrected them with a YouTube overlay feature that has since been deprecated... so now the original, bad labels are showing again. Sorry.
This video was correctly produced in 1080p native resoution. The original video was accidentally produced as 720p and upscaled to 1080 in the final rendering.
As usual, this video is a comparison and review of two lenses, in this case it's the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 ART series lens and the Canon 50mm f/1.2L . In the review, I discuss sharpness and resolution, bokeh, and overall image quality.
In summary, the Sigma 50mm ART lens is awesome, with better center and corner resolution than the Canon 50mm f/1.2L, and more reliable focusing, and although the bokeh isn't quite as smooth, it's very clean and attractive.
