4K monitors are super crisp and clear and lets you see super details like the pores on my face or the sadness in my eyes. A 4k monitor is basically 4 regular full Hd monitors meld into a super monitor. Which means 4 times the games right? Wrong. Your physical real estate is still the same as a full hd monitor of the same size. You can just see some things in greater clarity than you would before and have smaller windows. Buttt you may not like that since it’ll get hard to squint at all the time. If you’re playing a game it takes up the whole screen, and on a 4k monitor. That’s literally all the space you got. On dual monitors? That’s only on one display. And you still got the other. For I guess, watching this guy.

Good 4K monitors make your wallet cry in pain, Good dual monitors saves you enough money to pay for a good dinner that night. 4K monitors are great for creative types who need to pixel creep every detail, dual monitors provide you separate places for programs and information to exist. So you can write essays better, with Microsoft word on one screen and the article you’re analyzing on another. You can play games on one screen and have livestream software on another. While a 4K one leaves everything on one big screen to immerse you in one task. It’s like two small hands that can hold different items, vs one large hand that carries everything. Separation can be a good thing. Especially if you want to organize your hardcore multi-tasking session.

Dual monitors take up more space. Like literally twice the space. And these brick things all monitors come with? Sucks. You can’t deny physics. A single 4K monitor looks more neat and clean overall with minimal cable clutter. Dual monitors can come in all shapes, sizes, resolutions, and even ugliness. Two oddly shaped or different monitors just isn’t aesthetically pleasing. It’s all you to decide and personalize. 4K Monitors? Well, they’re just 4K monitors. No big deal, nothing special. Except the high detail.

So, from this you can probably tell these two types of monitor layouts are for completely different people. So, pick what’s best for you, regardless of how many stupid jokes someone like me says about it. Sure, if you wanted to do 2 4K monitors you could. Your wallet would bleed, and you’d be living on the street, but hey, anything for that crispy detailed goodness. Jokes aside, you really can’t go wrong with either choice as long as you know what you need it for.
