On June 15, Chinese Premier Li Qiang visited Australia, the second stop on his tour of New Zealand and Malaysia. Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese called the visit "another step forward" in stabilizing relations, which had declined since 2018 due to the "China threat" theory. Since Albanese took office in 2022, trade relations have improved and the public perception of China is slowly getting better. Can these positive trends continue?
