Liriope Evergreen Giant is a grass-like perennial with tidy clumps of deep glossy green, strap-like foliage. This foliage is pretty enough in its own right but just wait for the flower spikes! They shoot through in rich purple upright arrows during late spring to early summer and last literally ages before turning into small black berries.
Liriope is the perfect edging plant in a border that gets some shade and looks stunning mass planted under taller trees.
