Miles Branman reviews the 2019 BMW M2 Competition with the DCT transmission on road and on track (at Thermal Club in Palm Springs, CA). The successor to the M2, the Competition model borrows the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline 6-cylinder engine from the M3 and M4. Power is detuned to 405hp and 406 lb-ft of torque, getting the M2 Competition to 60 mph in 4.0 seconds (with the DCT).
The 2019 BMW M2 Competition is on sale now at a starting price of $59,895 (including destination).
