J Stalin is an artist from Cypress Village in West Oakland, CA. He’s real energetic and is full of wisdom based off life experiences. J Stalin explains how he moved across town to East Oakland with his mom but still went to school in West Oakland because his mom wanted him to still grow up and be surrounded by the same people he started off with. He mentioned how he got tired of taking the bus across town just to get to school so he started selling drugs to go half on a car with his friend. He mentions the key to the car being broken and having to let the car roll in order to pop the clutch and get the car going. J Stalin also talks about both of his brothers passing away. He explains the feeling and emotions he felt behind all of it. It wasn’t easy to deal with but the music is what helped him through it all.
