Mexico is usually known for its Tequila but not many people know that Tequila is actually a type of Mezcal. You can think of Tequila and Mezcal as being like siblings. Mezcal vs Tequila is always a fun concept to explore as they are quite similar, but definitely are not the same thing.

Mezcal Cocktails are some of my absolute favorite cocktails, so I really wanted to make this video examining and sharing with you talking about Mezcal and Tequila.

Mezcal is the term for any Spirit made from agave, or at least it was until the Mexican Government Gave Mezcal a Designation of Origin and confused everyone.
