This week we review the book Behave by Robert Sapolsky. A great summary of where we are at and what we know today about human behavior. I share my key takeaways and lessons from "Behave: the biology of humans at our best and worst" and summarize the most valuable findings. Behave is a thick book. Deeply complex. But also rewarding for the reader that spends time with it. This is one of my favorite popular science books of all time.
Video topics:
-Frontal Cortex and Willpower
-Habitation
-Delayed gratification
-Alcohol, testosterone and violence
-Hunger and judgement
-How can we implement what we learn from books like BEHAVE
