Hi. This is Dr. Nassif answering some YouTube questions, and this one was let's see. "Is plastic surgery safe for someone with a heart condition?" Well, that's a great questions because it depends on what the heart condition is. Especially if you just had a heart attack or something absolutely not, but basically what we do is if someone has a history of a heart issue over the age of 55 or 60, we have them have a cardiology consultation with a full-stress treadmill exam. That's assuming that the doctor will let them undergo that. Otherwise, obviously they're not a great candidate. We want to make sure that everyone is healthy before their surgery, and that's what's really important to make sure a cardiology sees our patients to give them clearance. Thank you very much.
