The newest team in the NHL, the Kraken, have called KJR their flagship home since just before their inaugural season in 2021, with some games initially also being carried on sister KJAQ; with the addition of KJR-FM in 2022, both KJR AM & FM currently simulcast all Kraken games. (KJR is no stranger to being the flagship for a Seattle pro team - they were the flagship for the SuperSonics from 1987 to 2006 - and were co-owned for a time.)
