Port of Hvar (Harbor of Hvar or Nautic Club Hvar) or Nautiki Centar Hvar is located on the Adriatic coast of Croatia, in the city of Hvar, in the southwestern part of the island of the same name. In fact, this is a city pier with a set of minimum necessary services.
The Croatian island of Hvar is widely known among yachting enthusiasts due to its picturesque nature and abundance of attractions.
On the central square of the city, the Paladini Palace and the Hektorovich Palace, the town hall with a tower decorated with a clock, St. Stephen's Cathedral and the Arsenal building flaunt.
Don't miss the Franciscan Monastery of the end of the fifteenth century and the City Walls, which were built by the Venetians in the 13th century.
Above the city rises the Spanish fortress, which is currently a museum. It was built in the seventeenth century on the site of an old fortress destroyed by an explosion in a powder magazine. A winding mountain climb to it runs through an arboretum with many unusual plants, and from the fortress walls a magnificent view of the bay and the Hell Islands opens up.
In the vicinity of Hvar, on one of the high hills, you will also find Napoleon's fortress built by the French in 1811. Now it houses an observatory.
