This lift is just a standard generic unfortunately and probably something I would not normally film but at the time of filming this lift was 5 days old or newer so I thought that made it worthy of filming.
The Arndale centre food court in Manchester has two lifts that connect street level to the food court. These lifts used to be older lifts that had been modernised by Kone but in 2020 they were replaced by Rubax lifts. Whilst the Kone lifts were in rather poor condition, it is a shame to see them replaced by a standard generic.
This Rubax lift is a standard generic really, Dewhurst buttons included. The buttons flash on approach to floors. For a generic this lift is not too bad really, it has pre doors (although they are hard to make out) and runs quite efficiently.
I had visited the food court 6 days earlier and this lift was still under construction. At the time of filming the other lift was being worked on and so soon both will be Rubax.
