Frankfurt is an international city, a commercial metropolis, and is Germany's busiest airport. The majority of your time in Frankfurt will most likely be spent in the Old Town and Downtown districts. The lovely Römerberg plaza is an excellent spot to start your stay. Römerberg is Frankfurt's Old Town's main square. One of the most popular green spots in town is the gorgeous riverside area along the Main River. The banks of the Main River are lined with cycling and walking paths. The Eiserner Steg bridge is the city's second bridge across the river. Because of its contemporary metal construction, the bridge has become a prominent landmark on the river. The financial sector, located west of the city center, should be your next visit. On your journey, keep an eye out for the massive Euro sign at Willy-Brandt-Platz. Even though the city has a reputation for being a destination for business travellers only, Frankfurt still has a lot to offer. And if you have more time, we highly recommend you check out some other places near by such as Rüdesheim am Rhein.
