The U.S. and China, in spite of strenuous engagement between the world's two superpowers ,are still at a daggers-drawn crossroads.
It is tragic that the most consequential relationship of our time, that has a direct impact on the security, health, and standard of living of the entire world, is at this crossroads. Worse, virtually the entire China/U.S. establishment in Beijing and Washington seems to have backed itself into a corner. Fresh voices are needed to move both countries off dead center. This is the focus of Polaris Live's winter 2022 season and of our opening conversation with Ambassador Mahbubani.
Professor Kishore Mahbubani, is one of Asia's most accomplished diplomats and Distinguished Fellow, Asia Research Institute, National University of Singapore. He is prolific author. His books include "Has China Won? The Chinese Challenge to American Primacy" and "Can Asians think,"
