Maherra Desai is a Clinical Psychologist, Medical Researcher & Co-author of: The Coronavirus - What You Need To Know About The Global Pandemic (published by Penguin Random House 2020); World's First Deep Research Book on the Pandemic. She is the Site Manager of Clinical Research at the Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai, and visiting faculty, Department of Psychology, at the S.N.D.T. Women’s University, Mumbai. She is passionate about fitness, travel and voluntary work. She has been actively involved in research projects and setting up protocols linked to the present pandemic, most notably the national research on the efficacy of convalescent plasma in the treatment of COVID by the Indian Council of Medical Research.
