Okay, so maybe everyone out there but me knew that needle lace is a form of lace-making and not a specific embroidery stitch, but you have to admit: there are lots of confusing similarities! That's why I did a deep dive on needle lace: what is it, how is it made, what can you do with it, and way more!
In fact, my dive got so deep that I had to split this video into two parts! Welcome to Part 1: the basics of needle lace. Here, I'm trying out various lace stitches and patterns, figuring out how a cordonnet works, and combining lace with embroidery for a gorgeous 3D piece of art!
