During times of crisis and uncertainty, it can be difficult and overwhelming to sort fact from fiction. In response, physicians at UC San Diego Health have launched the COVID-19 Virtual Grand Rounds Series, a six-part live video symposium that will focus on topics related to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.

Part Five — Views from the Front Line (Aug. 19, 2020): UC San Diego Health was the first health system in the San Diego region to start caring for patients with COVID-19. We have also been leading regional research efforts, including participating in a national clinical trial to assess the efficacy and immunogenicity of a vaccine intended to protect against SARS-CoV-2. In this fifth video of the series, leaders from UC San Diego Health will discuss efforts we’ve made since caring for our first patients with COVID-19 in February and provide insight on the clinical care advancements we’ve made from the front line.
