This is Ep 3 of the series "Andiamo in Campania". In this episode, we spent the last day on Ischia island at Sant'Angelo, and then took the ferry back to Naples, where we had a great sunset at Castel dell'Ovo. The next day we visited the Forcella area of Naples - the historic centre. We visited the Duomo and the Spellbound exhibition.
The Spellbound exhibition shows the scenography created by Salvador Dalí for the film “I will save you” by Alfred Hitchcock from 1945.
Hitchcock asked Salvador Dalí to create a dream sequence specifically for the film. Dalì, therefore, graphically reproduced some scenes of a dreamlike nature. It's staged through an exhibition itinerary that includes bronze sculptures, Daum glass works, graphics, illustrated books, Dalinian tarot cards and surrealist furnishings, all owned by Dali Universe.
The exhibition is at Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, and will run till 30 September 2022. Details and tickets at the following website: [ Ссылка ]
