Steampunk soundsculptures, inspired by horn radio telescopes used for the discovery of background noise from the beginning of the Universe. They receive the signal using horn antenna and radio receiver. One can listen to the noise of the beginning of the Universe, as a sound that is colored by the hornlike shape sculptures that are in the same time horn antennas.
This sound represents the soundwaves formed at the epoch of the Universe expansion when it become transparent, and that is why we can see them on the background-noise sky as circles, since signal received is not uniform over the sky, due to sound waves captured in the frame, at that epoch when the Universe became transparent for the light (about 380 000 yrs from the big bang).
In the video, there is a performance of music inspired by osculations received from space (like pulsars, stars and black holes)

Festival of contemporary art and electronic music LASCIAR VIBRARE 2013.
