This is probably my favorite song from DKC2. (It's between this, Kannon's Klaim, Hot Head-Bop and Krook's March. Tough one. :P) Even in something short and simple like this, David Wise shows his musical genius in Donkey Kong Country's music, which as far as soundtracks in general go, have always been some of my favorites as well. I really got inspired to do this one after hearing the amazing new version in DKC Tropical Freeze's soundtrack, which was arranged by Wise and also Kenji Yamamoto, another one of my favorite VG composers. (worked on DKC Returns as well as most of the major Metroid titles)
