It is America's Darkest Era. An era where the American Creed: We hold these Truths to be Self Evident that All Men Are Created Equal, was thrown to the wind by pride, greed, and bigotry run rampant. It was an era where our fellow countrymen, our brothers and sisters, were seen as little more then property to be bought and sold. Men, Women and Children whose only crime was simply to exist.
It is an era whose sins still haunt and divide the American People, on one side are those blinded by a misplaced sense of heritage, on the other those who have let the sins of the past consume them. It is the Age of Slavery.
