For Blog Entry - [ Ссылка ]
Welcome to a new format for videos from me here in Norway. Added to each of the videos marked "Frames of Norway" there will be a blog-entry explaining the history of the area I am visiting or any other interesting facts or things I found out about when preparing or reading about the place.
In this first episode, we visit the remains of old Biri Bruk. An old sawmill that burned down in 1993 while being restored before the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer. Being just a few kilometers away from Lillehammer, it was preparing to become a restaurant. Sadly, this never happened, and in this video, I am trying to capture its remains in a moody and gloomy way with some sentimentality. If you want to know more about my process and so on, please visit my blog.
