The Gear Acquisition Syndrome (G.A.S.) hides other deeper issues within it. We all know that the problem isn't the gear itself - it's us.

Internet, YouTube and social media are full of hype for all the newest and greatest gear, and it's a good thing to stop and reflect from time to time to understand what's happening.

In this video, I'm going to reflect on the 4 biggest root causes of the G.A.S. It's going to get uncomfortable. We'll have to get vulnerable to face our insecurities as musicians, but it is an important subject matter, and going to the root of the problem is actually the way forward.
