On par with Kakheti, Svaneti is possibly the most popular destination in Georgia due to its incredible mountains and landscape. Mestia is of course the first stop of any highking through the Upper Svaneti, but Ushguli, with its untouched natural environment, is probably the peak of this UNESCO-listed region.
