In Brazil, the Rio de Janeiro show was recorded by TV Globo and aired shortly after. Unfortunately, in the edition, Globo exaggerated the cut, leaving out gems like Money Changes Everything and My First Night Without You, in addition to editing Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and excluding the part where Cyndi sang “She's a Rebel” in the middle of the music, in reggae rhythm, which was incredible. There were almost two hours of the show reduced to just 45 minutes, a real waste of an incredible performance and excellent quality, charisma, talent and other great attributes.
Hopefully Globo will decide to launch the full show, in streaming or dvd, or even broadcast on one of its channels on pay TV, after all they filmed from the first to the last song. It would be a dream come true for many fans and a way to do justice to this incredible performance.
In the meantime, let's enjoy these 45 wonderful minutes of pure talent, energy and high quality music.
