4. Plastic Leaded Chip Carrier (PLCC): PLCCs have pins that are bent at right angles to the IC body, making them easier to insert and remove from sockets. They are commonly used in #logic devices and microcontrollers.
5. Quad Flat No-Lead (QFN): QFN packages have no leads and instead feature metal pads on the bottom of the package. They are often used for high-density applications where space is at a premium.
6. Ball Grid Array (BGA): A BGA package has an array of tiny balls on the bottom surface that are used to connect the chip to the PCB. They are often used in high-performance #processors and #memory chips.
7. Pin Grid Array (PGA): PGAs have pins arranged in a grid pattern on the bottom of the package. They are commonly used in #CPUs and other high-performance integrated circuits.
8. Dual In-line Package (DIP): This is the most common type of IC package. It has two rows of pins that are inserted into a socket or #PCB (Printed Circuit Board).
9. Single Inline Package (SIP): SIP packages have a single row of leads that extend from the bottom of the package. They are often used for low-cost, low-pin count applications.
