This TV show concept was created by my brother John DiResta. John and my self made this pitch movie in the summer of 2004. This is a lifestyle we led on and off since we were in high school. After many pitch meetings with every network, over 6 years finally we sold the this idea to discovery network in 2010. The first and only season of 12 episodes aired in fall of 2011. discovery gave the series the new name Dirty Money.

During the production we had little to no contact with the people at discovery, and since production ended we never spoke to any one at the network. I mention this because many people ask me if there will be a season 2, Netflix, and many other questions I have no explanation for. This is why I came to youtube.
