Having grown up in lush New England, BYU professor George Handley found himself drawn outdoors toward water after moving to dry Utah. Over the years he's learned from the flow and scarcity of water. “Water is beautiful, gracious, even holy,” he says. “Water reminds us of nature's capacity to renew itself. Water washes and renews us. We cannot live without it.”
