The Rodopi Mountains are a mountain range in Southeastern Europe, spanning Bulgaria, Greece, and Turkey. They are the largest mountain range in Bulgaria and the second largest in Greece. The highest peak in the range is Musala in Bulgaria, which is 2,925 meters (9,596 feet) tall.
The Rodopi Mountains are a popular destination for hiking, camping, and skiing. They are also home to a number of historical and cultural sites, such as the ancient city of Plovdiv in Bulgaria and the Greek Orthodox monastery of Rila.
