MARIPOSAS
Elizabeth Hargrave follows up Wingspan with another game that is built around the natural world.
This time, players take on the role of monarch butterflies as they migrate from Mexico to eastern North America in the spring and back to Mexico by fall. By utilising the set collection and movement point mechanisms players score points by reaching end of round goals and by getting their 4th generation butterflies back home to Michoacan.
But how can anyone follow up such a hit as Wingspan. Can Mariposas actually live up to the levels set by its older sibling or will it fall into its shadow?!
