Synco Microphones came out with a new microphone the D1 - hypercardioid shotgun mic. So I decided to put it to the test and compare it to my RODE microphone NTG3 (my version is the B version). In this video I test out both microphones in 2 different types of environments - 1 in a home office setting and the 2nd being in a very echoey environment. In both of these locations I tested how each mic would perform from 3 different distances away from the audio source. After testing, and then reviewing how each performed I share my final thoughts comparing both microphones and what my pros and cons are.
