Factory78 sits down with Jamaican 20 year old Krishane, Son of Legend Barrington Levy, who has just signed to Atlantic Records. He spoke about growing up in Jamaica, starting to write music at the age of 6, and joining a boy group at the age of 11. Krishane, who is being marketed as the next Sean Kingston, is originally from Manchester, Jamaica; but moved to the UK a few years ago.
He also has a love for love Afro-beats music. And spoke about making Afro-beats music in the future.
Shortly after relocating to London, Krishane signed a recording and publishing agreement with 1 2 One Entertainment, which evolved into a recording contract with Atlantic.
His new track "Drunk & Incapable" features British singer Melissa Steel, who is also signed to Atlantic and Beenie Man. The video was shot in Jamaica.
