"Star of the County Down" is a traditional Irish tune that I chose to arrange in a haunting and expressive style. A departure from how you typically hear this tune, the opening right hand melody creates a sense of stillness and you'll feel the tension in the harmonies throughout. Appropriate for the mid-intermediate level, I have included fingering support to help navigate the crossing hand passages and the more advanced finger placing.

"Star of the County Down" was originally released as part of the Morning Has Broken collection from 2012. The updated sheet music download is now available as a single solo with a few small changes, fingering support and a more spacious score layout.
