In this episode of Abbey’s Kitchen, Abbey is at Taste of Toronto, which is known as the hottest food event in the city. Abbey is hosting all weekend and is excited to share with you guys all of her tasty festival eats!
Abbey was on a mission to find all the best food and she didn't have to look very far because everything looked amazing!
At one station, there is a huge grill loaded with tasty meats and they’re serving chorizo sausage. Abbey was craving some protein, so she grabbed a plate of BBQ chorizo with chicken topped with arugula salad.
Abbey is about to dig into some chicken skewers!
Now it’s time to cool down with popsicles! Abbey is enjoying a fresh made peach lemonade popsicles and came at a perfect timing to beat the heat!
Abbey is seeing so much barbecue here at Taste of Toronto.
Now it’s time for a chicken parmesan sandwich, and of course bacon mac and cheese!
At Taste, there is so much variety from the very best restaurants in Toronto.
Pizza time! After all those dishes, Abbey wants to cool down with a delicious dessert and nothing beats ice cream!
Taste of Toronto is located in a giant park with an excellent view of the city!
Abbey’s now craving some vegetables with this beautiful crudité plate and a delicious fennel and orange salad.
Abbey is hosting cooking shows all weekend with Toronto’s best chefs. Chef David Lee from Nota Bene taught the class how to make a delicious zucchini noodle salad with mushrooms, shrimp and nori.
It’s the middle of the day, and Abbey needs her coffee fix.
Time for more dessert and this time Abbey is having a waffle cone filled with organic frozen yoghurt with some strawberry rhubarb sauce with basil.
Abbey has been grazing most of the day at Taste because of work, but now it’s dinner time which means burger time from Richmond Station. This is Abbey’s favourite burger in the world which has a beet relish and a tasty cheese. Abbey is in her happy place.
After that, Abbey is enjoying a porchetta sandwich from one of her fav restaurants.
Next up, as a late-night snack Abbey is enjoying a tasty bao sandwich.
Finally, at the end of the day, Abbey is enjoying a tasty donut treat with pistachio cream.
