Buried deep in the woods of the Carrick Tract Trail System, Sleepy Hollow takes you even deeper towards My First Time (Next week's video, don't forget to subscribe and share!). You'll have plenty of shade in the forest here and as such I always make sure to bring some bug spray just in case; however, today has been pretty good. I take Sleepy Hollow half-way in as you need to stop here if you want to take My First Time, then afterwards you can take the second half back to the main trail - Ortmans Way.
@ 0:30 - Again I'm riding blind, but right away I can tell that this will be a nice flowy trail. At a distance of 1,638 m you climb 35m and descend 25m it's great for anyone wanting to get into mountain biking
@ 2:30 - Climbs are pretty tame compared to what I'm used to, rooty sections exist but are not extreme, and I'm immediately rewarded with more flowy track.
@ 4:00 - This is probably one of the more intense climbing sections, a steep switchback will put you in check if you didn't prepare and downshift.
@ 4:20 - Already the climb is over and by 4:40 we start to pick up some steam and get into some proper rooty sections.
