The other day I stumbled upon this game Bunny Graveyard on Steam and it immediately peaked my interest. I think I saw a few thumbnails of this game by various horror YouTubers, but I did not know anything about it.
And so I was very pleasantly surprised by this awesome indie game. The Bunny Graveyard is a cute adventure game where nothing is as it seems. We arrive at the Lovely Garden which is managed by Skye the Bunny. We help her in the garden, play basketball with the other helping hands and everything seems so peaceful.
But there is a very dark secret that hides in the shadows and Skye might not actually be so cute as she seems. The adventure is full of twists and turns and it was always another surprise when something new happened. In between the story bits you get to play simple, but very varied minigames. From fishing to boxing or sneaking and playing rock, paper, scissors.
I have to admit that I absolutely adore horror games like this where initially everything is cute and happy, but something seems off. Where the horror element isn't initially there. The true king of this genre has to be Doki Doki Literature Club, but games like Amanda the Adventurer and also Bunny Graveyard are amongst those too.
If anyone knows any other games that do this, please let me know as I would love to archive them.
