This is a very short video, showing how we cut the plywood subfloor in an Argosy trailer. The floor is pretty solid, so we didn't need to remove the entire floor. But we did need to remove the center, so we could access the space below and remove the stinky, nasty packrat nests from that space. We think it's easier than removing the belly skin, from below.
We set the circular saw to cut almost all the way through the plywood, but no so deep that it will hit the metal framing members. Then we use an oscillating saw to make the final cut, which is super fast and isn't an issue if you hit the metal.
I did refer to the saw as a reciprocating saw, but that's actually a different tool. I meant to say oscillating saw...but I couldn't remember the name!
