CHICKEN WALNUT PINWHEELS
Ingredients
100 grams chicken mince
1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon garlic, chopped
1-2 green chillies, chopped
1 medium onion, finely chopped
10-12 walnuts, chopped
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
½ teaspoon dried mango powder (amchur)
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon fresh coriander leaves, chopped
Method
1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan and add garlic, green chillies and onions. Sauté till fragrant and translucent.
2. Add chicken mince, chopped walnuts, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and dried mango powder. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
3. Add salt and chopped coriander. Mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
4. Roll the divided dough to form a rectangle cut the edges neatly to shape.
5. Fill the prepared chicken mixture in the dough. Roll into cylinder and cut out slices. Place the slices on greased baking tray.
6. Bake for 40-45 minutes at 180˚C.
