This is a review of Ibanez RGMS8 BK multi-scale electric guitar.
RGMS8 is a very affordable guitar with top-notch Ibanez quality in this price range. Action and playability are flawless out of the box.
Scale length: 27.26 " on the lowest string, and 25.5 " for the highest string.
I am presenting the pros and cons of RGMS8, unboxing, as well as some mods I did. To make Ibanez RGMS8 "shred friendly", I changed the tuning to "High A", scalloped the neck and added few extra mods to expand and enhance the potential of this instrument.
Wood: Nyatoh body, Jatoba fretboard, and Maple/Walnut neck.
Array-8 MS pickups are surprisingly good for this price range.
Another great feature of Ibanez RGMS8 is the 5-way switch, adding some additional sonic flavor.
