I made some cringe mistakes in my Iteration 1 Lightsmith tree, but at least I'm learning from them :)
Now, before I do ANY class's tree, I make it a point to go through ALL of their class and spec talents to see what perks exist for each ability, so I don't put in anything redundant. I do my best to pay attention to the nuances while researching rotations on icy-veins.
We'll see what feedback I get on these. Hopefully, Blizzard is paying attention to what players want.
My trees are designed to do a lot of things that Blizzard wants, but instead of focusing on a single ability, they're designed to have broader appeal. I'm trying to create player choice that'll enable new and different playstyles without railroading players, plus the addition of new abilities for each spec means that the trees will be more exciting for players.
