In this week's episode we're in Kyrgyzstan and we're exploring a lesser-visited part of the beautiful Issyk Kul Lake. This endothermic alpine lake is one of the largest bodies of fresh water on Earth and its breathtaking setting in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan has made it one of the countries most visited tourist sites.
But first, we go on a horse trek around Jyrgalan, then visit Karakol for some awesome activities, before finally heading to the south shore of Lake Issyk Kul and stay in Beltam Yurt Camp. From there we see a bunch of cool cultural activities like yurt building, eagle hunting and archery!
