How to manage Feature Lists in WHM
• Many features assigned to a cPanel account are stored by WHM in Feature Lists, which allow you to enable or disable the features you want. Once created, list can be assigned to a package and then chosen when creating a cPanel account.
• Go to Packages to manage feature lists. Click Feature Manager.
• As described on the page, there are two special lists available- default and disabled.
• The special feature lists always apply to all users. If you disable a feature in default list, it will be disabled in every user's cPanel, unless another feature list grants them the feature.
• Disabling a feature in disabled feature list will also disable it in every user's cPanel, but no other feature list will be able to override this and grant the feature. If you don't want anyone to be able to turn the feature on at all, disable it in the list.
• Scroll down. Click on Edit button next to Edit a Feature list option. You can check or uncheck the boxes according to your requirement. Click on Save button, when done.
• The list will be saved. Click Back to Feature Manager.
• Now, let's disable the same features in disabled list. Proceed in the same manner as before. Edit a Feature list. Click on Save button after choosing the options.
• Two features will be disabled and shown in disabled list. You can even enable them in custom list. Save the list.
• Custom failure list will show up in drop down menu under Delete a Feature list. Use delete button to delete the feature list.
