In this quick video I will show you how to import into Cakewalk by BandLab all the separate mp3 tracks that you have download as part of my project to recreate songs.
=== About my Channel ===
My YouTube channel was created to share with you all the details on how I recreate famous songs from several different bands and genres that I personally like. I also share details of how I created my own songs.
To recreate the songs, I use Cakewalk by BandLab – a free, but incredibly professional and stable Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). See link to download Cakewalk in the LINK section below.
For all songs posted here, I will also share the separate audio tracks, so you can import them into Cakewalk (or into any DAW of your choice), and instantly recreate the same songs you see in the videos.
So, why should you get hold of the separate tracks? When you are learning music production, it is really useful to be able to visualize how the tracks musically interact with each other. Also, you can solo the tracks and listen to how they sound on their own, as well as in the context of the mix. This is a great way to learn a few arranging patterns – and this will eventually guide and even inspire you when you are creating your own songs!
In Cakewalk, I use several VST softsynths and FX plugins to create the songs, so I always make sure I list them and provide a quick description of the plugin.
If you use another DAW other than Cakewalk, you can still learn something by watching my videos because the softsynths and FX plugins that I use are all compatible with any DAW.
