I've heard rumors that China is moving toward enclosed batteries, which I favor for their ease of use. DJI has used them for years now. But the move is not without controversy.

A scale model gets even greater benefit from these new batteries since they don't compromise the fuselage.

Here are two similar sized scale helicopters that I will use to illustrate the point. The older XK K124 and the new Eachine E120 offer a pretty solid comparison.
