Since restarting climbing after a 2 year break, I was working back into V3s and V4s when I was into V5s before the 'rona. Have yet to finish a V5 this year...
Then, there was this V6 by itself in the corner which got very little love. I appealed to me and I would work on a bit over the course of several weeks. The crimps were really painful at first and keeping my feet on the wall was a challenge. I got a couple moves in, then rested fingers, came back another day, got one move farther, rinse repeat.
Little by little, my finger strength and body placement improved and I finally sent it on Sept. 27th, a few days before my birthday! It was awesome to have a couple buddies to work on it with. Michael was filming and encouraging!
