Today's is a quick update to my last video testing various Adobe Illustrator alternatives and selecting the best one for my use.

One of the criteria that I based my decision on was the ability for the Adobe Illustrator alternative to open .ai files.

I end up with Affinity Designer but gave Inkscape the runner up position for its ease of use, simple interface and overall value (FREE) with the only downside being that it would not read Adobe Illustrator .ai files.

Well, even though I'm sticking with Affinity Designer some new information has surfed that places it, IMHO, as the #1 Ranked FREE Adobe Illustrator alternatives on the market.

This new information was sent by a few of our amazing channel subscribers that have provided an easy way to get Inkscape to import .ai file without a hitch.

This method, I've tested, works, and now I'm going to share it with you.

I've also uncovered a serious problem with Affinity Designer when creating Print Ready Files and provide an easy workaround to correct the issue! I hope this helps you!
