Truman Boot Co.'s Jeans Calf boot is a blue leather with complex depth and grey tone. The calf-hide leather is from Maryam Tannery in Tuscany, Italy. The calf-hide is rich, soft, supple, smooth to the touch and with an elegant shine. The boot is built on Truman's C-55 Last, "which has more of an Almond shape with a sleeker, slender profile" compared to their P-79 last. The complex depth and tone of the leather changes in various lighting.
This is NOT a boot review. I just wanted to share a study of the boot's calf-hide leather color, texture, and complex tone under various lighting for those considering acquiring this boot or something similar.
